Warrior Alpha QX4 Shoulder Pads provide a nice fitting, protective and flexible option for recreational hockey players. The chest panel is comprised of medium-density foams, reinforced in the sternum area with hard plastic (PE) inserts. Likewise, the backplate of these shoulder pads is constructed from medium-density foam with an extended PE insert running down the length of the spine. PE inserts can also be found in the clavicle areas, bicep guards, and shoulder caps where the hard plastic is strategically molded to disperse maximum impact energy.
