Intricately woven Toquilla straw fibers come together to form a grade 3 weave with a large 3 1/2" brim all around. It has a teardrop style crown that is embellished with an elegant, thin, brown leather band ending on the left hand side with brass clasps. The straw is semi-soft but certainly sturdy in your hands and there is well applied glue to the inside crown to act as a form of protection against the common cracking that occurs when the crown is pinched. Inside, the hat features a soft, cotton sweatband and a Bigalli logo affixed to the top of the crown. This is a working man's style that has been turned into a very elegant hat for use either every day or on special occasions.
